The Pontian Greeks and others deserve a month in rememberance and mourning for their loss.

The United States and Turkish Governments should offer one month out of each year dedicated to Pontian Rememberance and Mourning, similar to Black History Month.

Early this century, millions of Pontian Greeks, Armenians, Kurds, Syrians, Arabs, Christians, Serbs, and Bulgarians perished in  a genocide ordered by the Turkish Government.This crime has gone unpunished, and the guilty party still denies its very existence, claiming to have been transportion 'rebellious citizens.'

If crimes like the Holocaust and the genocides in Cambodia have international recognition, then why do the Pontians and others that suffered not deserve the same? Work with ARPG for the international recognition of this evil act of pure and unchecked ethnic hatred.

You can help by calling for the international recognition of this genocide. The Turkish government should offer a formal apology to the victims' descendants, and reparations for the exhile, death, and decades of hurt and sorrow caused by their blind hate.
